VT Seva Detroit 13th Annual Volleyball Tournament
VT Seva Detroit is organizing the 13th Annual Volleyball Tournament on Sep 20th, 2026,ย starting at 9:00 AM in SPARC, Novi, MI.ย
Proceeds from this tournament will go to schools in India for visually challenged children. VT Seva supports Schools for visually challenged students in India, such as Nethra Vidyalaya. These schools provide higher education to visually challenged students and enable them to be independent and compete with other students.

VTSEVA Detroit YB Open Door Ministry in-person event
On *June 25th, 2026*, *VT Seva Detroit Youth Board* volunteers had an amazing volunteering experience at *Open Door Food Ministries*. This food pantry serves those in need, and they serve around 400 families every week with an average of 20,000 lb of food per week. During this service event, we helped with various tasks, including those below: * Organizing bananas into bags for easy distribution * Loading food delivery carts * Disposing of expired food * Cleanup after food distribution

Volunteer Service Awards and Meet&Greet event
WOW what an Amazing day we had on 14th June 2026. We started the day with wet and rainy and ended it with bright sunny skies. A perfect Michigan day with unpredictable weather. VTS Detroit - WIHI VTS Club - Book Kits
WIHI VTSeva hosted a โMake It, Take Itโ reading kit program at the Ypsilanti District Library. We collected book donations at WIHI, which we then used to create kits with coloring pages and books for students at the library to enjoy! We had so much fun seeing kids and families color together and we loved reading the books with them!

VT SEVA Detroit Youth led SNEAKER DRIVE 2026
In May 2026, VT SEVA Detroit youth Board members collected around 150 pairs of gently used shoes to support VT SEVA Detroit Feeding Hope program. Collected items were carefully sorted by the youth leads to bag and ship them to *"GotSneakers"* organization. These shoes will help reuse, recycle, and donate the items to benefit children, low-income families, and the homeless in underprivileged countries. If these donated pairs are in Excellent condition, *"GotSneakers"* will compensate us with some $'s, and all funds collected through this drive will be donated to *VTSEVA "Feeding Hope" program*.

VTS Detroit - Plymouth Scholars VTS Club - DAV Event 3
The ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ข๐ญ, came together with incredible enthusiasm and heart to create 1,248 DAV flowers in support of Disabled American Veterans, and every single flower represents gratitude, respect, and kindness.

VTS Detroit - Troy High VTS Club - Friendship Bracelet
Troy High VTS made 63 bracelets for the children in the Nethra Vidyalaya village as a way to spread kindness and create a personal connection with the kids. Each bracelet was handmade and designed to make the children feel supported. This project not only brought joy to the children receiving the bracelets, but also encouraged creativity among the club members who participated.

VTS Detroit - VTS IAE Club - Friendship Bracelet
Members from the IAE VTS Club came together to make friendship bracelets! These friendship bracelets will be sent to the kids in the Nethra Vidyalaya school in India! Each bracelet is a small symbol of friendship, kindness, and the reminder that someone, even from across the world, is thinking of them. In total, we were able to make 81 bracelets! Weโre so proud to have been able to brighten the studentsโ day with something handmade and heartfelt.

VT Seva Detroit Youth Board Greeting Card Project
VT Seva Detroit wishes Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there! As we turn to the season of celebration, it's important to keep those in mind who don't get to celebrate as much as we do. For Mother's Day 2026, VT Seva Detroit youths came together to create beautiful Mother's Day and thinking of your cards for the women of Manoogian Manor. These amazing ladies often do not get the chance to celebrate Mother's Day, and we are so grateful to have been able to make a difference in their lives and hopefully brighten their day as they are reminded that they are loved during this time of year. We love to see their smiles every year as they read through our cards and cannot wait to do this again next year!

VTS Detroit - IAE VTS Club - Mothers Day Card Making
IAE VTS Club came together to make Motherโs Day Cards! These cards were sent to residents at the American House Somerset Senior Living Home. It was a great opportunity to spread kindness and celebrate the mothers in our community. In total, we were able to make 60 cards! Weโre so proud to have been able to brighten someoneโs day with thoughtful messages and handmade cards.

YB GRATITUDE TO THE POLICE OFFICERS ROCK PAINTING PROJECT 2026
Every year, VT SEVA Detroit takes a moment to express heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated police officers serving the Novi community. As a small gesture of appreciation, members visit the department each May, bringing along thoughtful goodies to thank the officers for their commitment and service. This year, the Youth Board members added a special, creative touch to the tradition. Demonstrating both talent and compassion, they hand-painted colorful rocks and crafted personalized cards to share with the officers. Each piece reflected a message of appreciation, making the gesture even more meaningful.

Weโre glad that so many people were able to come and work together for such a great cause. It was so awesome to see the flowers come together so fast due to the hard work and the teamwork. Weโre super excited to send these out to give these to the local DAV chapter to hand out!
