VT Seva San Antonio volunteers made over 250 sandwiches in collaboration with HTSA for Vinny's Bistro this past Saturday. Our volunteers also took time to make "Forget-Me-Not" flowers for DAV (Disabled American Veterans).

San Antonio had its February branch meeting and first DAV service on 2/25/2024 and made about 750 flowers to be distributed to the disabled veterans as a symbol of remembrance of their great service to our nation. It was great seeing all the kids and adults joining this fun and meaningful activity!

VT Seva San Antonio youths and adults volunteered did at the SA Food Bank on 02/17/2024. Together, they all helped in packing 9402 lbs of food which will serve 7521 families! Kudos to all the volunteers who showed up despite of an inclement weather condition!

VT Seva San Antonio collaborated with SewaDiwali team and local dharmic organizations to help out San Antonio Food Bank with a Food Drive. VT Seva volunteers raised over 500 lbs food for this noble initiative.

VT Seva San Antonio was very happy for the opportunity to help out at the Blessed Angels church on Veteran's Day. Our youth volunteers wrapped gifts for kids during their time at the church. The church needed help and the co-ordinators were very thankful for our volunteers time with a very short notice.

VT Seva San Antonio volunteers helped out and participated in the Blood Drive organized by Hindu Temple Of San Antonio on Oct 2nd, 2021. The initiative was well supported by the community and appreciated by STBT, especially considering the need during the pandemic. A few of the volunteers also got an opportunity to help with temple preparations for the upcoming Navarathri Celebrations.

VT Seva Charlotte, Dallas and San Antonio came together yet again this year to conduct Speech And Debate Camp to upper elementary and middle school students. The camp raised funds enough for one year education sponsorship for four students at Nethravidyalaya in India. Kudos to the youth, mainly from Charlotte, who conceptualized, planned and implemented the idea successfully.

VT Seva San Antonio volunteers came together for the first time after the pandemic to help keep the area that we have adopted clean.

San Antonio VT Seva youth came forward to make this Holiday season special for the elderly at Bob Ross Senior Home in San Antonio by making beautiful and thoughtful cards for them. The branch also participated in Clothing Drive benefitting the needy at Haven For Hope.

VT Seva San Antonio volunteers organized a Stem Cell Drive at Hindu Temple of San Antonio during the temple's anniversary celebrations this weekend and recruited 33 stem cell donors!

VT Seva San Antonio pitched in with the Basura Bash Annual Waterways Cleanup Event in collecting trash by the banks of San Antonio area waterways.
