This was a very fulfilling & great opportunity to support individuals and families in need of food, clothing, and social work assistance. Capuchin Services Center helps 228,000 Detroit residents annually with emergency food and clothing. During the event, our VT Seva Detroit volunteers engaged in various tasks, including: 1. Sorting and organizing clothing from donation boxes. 2. Sorting and organizing hygiene items. 3. Inspecting expiration dates on bread and stocking shelves. 4. Packaging pantry boxes. 5. Stocking shelves with canned goods. 6. Organizing toys for distribution.

VT Seva Detroit Youths conducted the very successful5th annual Outreach program. Through their contacts using their communication skills they raised funds to support 72+ students education for one whole year.

VTS Detroit conducted Bell Ringing event for Salvation Army

On Dec 21st 2024, VTSEVA Detroit Youth Board help run the Capuchin Services Christmas Giveaway. They helped stock presents, helped attendees shop for presents, and helped greet and register attendees for this event. We helped over 300 families and around 600 kids during this event.

VTS Detroit Youths conducted a bell ringing event for Salvation Army

On Dec 14th 2024, VTSEVA Detroit Youth Board participated at the Community Family Life Center (CFLC), where we helped pack produce, canned goods, toiletries, and dairy. These items are then loaded into cars of people in need. We were able to help around 100 households and around 300 people.

Troy IAE VTS Club members helped Play Place to organize their annual Christmas party, the “North Poll Stroll” by doing various things like serving lunch, managing games and activities! It was a great way to spend time engaging with our community.

We made Thanksgiving craft kits for kids at the C.S. Motts Childrens hospital. Volunteers cut out parts for the paper turkeys and added the materials to assemble the turkey into ziploc bags.

VT Seva Detroit successfully celebrated the 9th Annual Cultural Event RAAS-2024 on November 16th, 2024. RAAS is our Annual Celebration event, culminating a great year of various fundraising activities and volunteering services to the community. A memorable evening with marvelous Entertainment & Sumptuous Dinner Some of the key highlights of the event: • 450+ people attended. • Sumptuous Dinner with Mesmerizing Entertainment • Game night and Electrifying Open-floor Dance to engage the audience. • Special Thanks to all the Donors, Volunteers, Participants, Sponsors, Choreographers, and everyone for bringing great success to VTSEVA Detroit.

Troy IAE students worked with YB to collect candies and donated to Police Station

roy VTS club conducted a Treats For Troops event along side the Oakland County Sheriffs Department on Nov 7th We collected from Troy and Novi for this event and collected over 17 pounds of candy!
