The 23rd National Para Athletics Championship recently concluded in Chennai, running from February 17 to 20, 2025, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. This landmark event attracted 1,476 para-athletes from across India, competing in 155 events representing 30 teams, making it one of the largest para-athletic gatherings in the country. The championship was organized by the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Paralympic Sports Association (TNPSA), with significant support from the Tamil Nadu Government.

Lalitha - GOLD in 200m & 400m (T11 Category) – A stellar performance that made the entire team proud!
Ravanni - GOLD in 100m, SILVER in 200m & 400m (T11 Category) – A powerhouse on the track, proving her mettle with multiple podium finishes!
Ambati Swaraj - SILVER in Long Jump (T11 Category) – Leaping towards success with an inspiring effort!
Sirisha - BRONZE in 100m (T11 Category) – A fantastic feat, displaying her speed and endurance!
Special mention to Surya Rohith from Nethra School who missed the finals by just milliseconds, competing fiercely against senior players. His performance is a testament to his potential and unwavering determination – the future is bright!
