VT Seva Detroit Youth Board formed on May 19, 2019. The VT Seva Detroit Youth Board celebrated our fourth 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 with an evening of family, fun, and festivity! We all met virtually and reminisced about many of the amazing volunteering events that the youth board has run over the past 4 years.
We have come together as a diverse group of individuals, united by a shared purpose, and fostered an environment that embraces inclusivity, collaboration, and personal growth.
Traditionally, 4th Anniversary is celebrated with Fruits & Flowers, We celebrated our 4th youth board anniversary with all the wonderful flowers which are our (you the youths) and the fruits which are (your accomplishments).
Organized successful events, summer camps, walkathons, outreach programs, workshops, and initiatives that have not only enriched our own lives but have also positively impacted the broader community. Most importantly we established 2 school clubs in this last year.
VT Seva Detroit Youth Board like to express deepest gratitude to our Youth Board members, parents, sponsors, and core people who have supported us throughout this journey.

We celebrated the YB anniversary with a special webinar from arranged a webinar to get insights of College Admission Process from the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫. Its the webinar for both parents and students.
Ashleigh Taylor is a college application strategist and the founder of Empowered 4 College, an educational consultancy. Ashleigh reviewed tens of thousands of applications for a variety of programs including the liberal arts (LSA), engineering, nursing, and kinesiology. In her role as senior counselor at UofM, she managed recruitment and reviewed applications for territories in the U.S., India, China, and Hong Kong.
Many parents and students participated in this wonderful webinar and got lots of insights on the college admissions process. VT Seva Detroit Youth Board, Parents, and students expressed many thanks to Ashleigh Taylor.
